Materials & Surface Properties
Applying and customizing material properties for each model part to control color, surface detail, reflectivity, and realism.
Materials Help
Material Tab – Parts
- Parts dropdown: Lists all parts of the model to apply materials on.
- Select part: Selecting a part activates its material settings panel.
Base Color
- Upload file or color picker: Changes affect the selected part color immediately.
Roughness
- Upload file + slider: Slider adjusts roughness intensity (default value is 1).
Metalness
- Upload file + slider: Slider adjusts metalness intensity.
Normal Map
- Upload file: Affects surface normals to add realistic surface details.
Ambient Occlusion
- Enable + slider + upload: Must be enabled to apply; slider adjusts intensity, texture upload is optional.
Displacement
- Enable + slider + upload: Must be enabled to apply; slider adjusts height, texture upload is optional.
Sheen
- Enable + slider + upload or color picker: Must be enabled; affects surface reflectivity and allows color selection.
Specular
- Enable + slider + upload or color picker: Must be enabled; controls specular reflection.
Emission
- Enable + slider + upload or color picker: Must be enabled; adds light emission to the material.
Opacity
- Enable + slider + upload: Must be enabled; controls material transparency.
